You don’t need to head down south like some snowbird. No, you want to spend your time making the most out of the season while it lasts. You enjoy the bite in the air, the rush of the air as you glide across the snow, and at the end of it all, maybe some hot cocoa and a warm fire. After all, that’s why you’re staying at the Bonanza Camping Resort and spending your time in the Wisconsin Dells.
Christmas Mountain Village
Do you like skiing, snowboarding, or snow tubing? Well, then you should check out Christmas Mountain Village. You gain access to 16 downhill runs and a number of trails. Beginner? No problem, there are slopes perfect for you. Experts won’t be left out either as they offer black diamond slopes too. It’s a great outdoor activity for the whole family and maybe a way to help burn off some of those holiday calories and blues.
You can also try out Cascade Mountain ski, snowboard, and snow tube. They offer a wide variety of trails, 36 in fact! Some of the trails are over a mile long. They offer a snow tube park with five 800’ long chutes. Even better, kids 12 or younger ski free when accompanied by a paid adult. It’s hard to beat free.
How about trying out the zipline? Sure, you can zip anytime, but why not get the rush of arctic air as you fly across the forest. There are options and the Wilderness Hotel and Golf Resort, Bigfoot Zipline, and Vertical Illusions. You might want to try out Vertical Illusions zipline as you fly over Chimney Rock Park.
